Picture of Leilani Pathak, MD

Board-certified Endocrinologist

Dr. Pathak earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. She completed her residency at Brookdale University Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and an endocrinology fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.

"My mentor once told me to practice the type of medicine you long to read and learn about every single day. For myself, endocrinology was that type of medicine." “Two important aspects that drove me to endocrinology are to be challenged intellectually and most of all to help people,” says Dr. Pathak.

The scope of her practice includes diabetes, lipid disorders, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, as well as other hormonal gland pathology.

During her free time, Dr Pathak enjoys spending time with her family and running marathons when her 1-year old daughter allows her to train.
